Busyness is ubiquitous. We are constantly bombarded by advertising telling us that we need more. Everywhere we go someone is asking us what is new. What if nothing is new? Does that mean something is wrong? If we spend time in stillness, is that wrong? If we need to save money, are we somehow ‘less than’? Here is a long overdue newsflash – you are fine! To be clear, we want to share that …
…you do not need to stay busy to be worthy.
…you do not need to buy more to be worthy.
…you do not need to have money to be worthy.
How do we know this? Your being and doing are two different things. We work with clients daily and know that everyone is trying to find the “sweet spot” in their life, that place where we are engaged, full of life, connected with our spirituality, and balanced. How do we, as life coaches, participate in that process? We work with clients to find clarity in their life. We start by offering our clients sacred space to step outside of their activities to contemplate where they have been, where they are now and where they are going. Taking the time to evaluate and assess is a valuable exercise to gaining clarity.
The difference between being overwhelmed and out of control and contented and satisfied can often be determined by how clear you are on your life and what you want in it. In life, we are managing multiple stimuli, a range of people, activities, and things that need our attention and it helps to determine what deserves that attention and what else is just plain noise.
Gaining clarity on your goals, priorities, family time, recreation, spirituality, and other facets of your life is priceless!
