Are you ready for change? Start by opening up to new routines in small every day actions that lead to long term success. Avoid overwhelming yourself with gigantic to do lists, but rather use S.M.A.R.T. goals – specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timed – to achieve progress in life. Champion each step rather than defaulting to “all or nothing” thinking that defeats the spirit and leads us to abandon our goals. A perfectionist mindset causes procrastination. Aim for progress over perfection. Whatever the change you are looking to make, be it adding healthy habits, losing weight, exercising more, finding a new job, career, or relationship, make your “springboard” the following: Set an intention, take small actionable steps each day, and celebrate your successes. Want to make your progress visible? Take two sandwich bags and put mints in one bag and mark ‘goal’ on the other bag. Each step forward move a mint into the ‘goal’ bag. See the progress you are making daily and feel accomplished!
