Wishing you a holiday full of love. Your presence is a present!
It has been a year of stress and mindfulness, insanity and peace, hasn’t it? As a coach for employee assistance programs in the workplace, I can say that my life has truly been enriched by the many amazing people I have met this year. Whether I was working with an employee in the workplace or an individual client in a coaching package, I realized everyone has been under pressure and risen to the challenge with courage and vulnerability. My hope is that the employees and individual clients who have reached out have found clarity and compassion and increasing ability to seize the contentment they deserve. My work keeps me “walking the walk and not just talking the talk”, so I too, was pressed to find my way.
As we try to enjoy the holidays in our fatigue and amidst ongoing uncertainty, I am reminded of Robert Holden’s teaching, that joy is unreasonable. This means it needs no reason. We tap into it when we are ready. We let happiness float in and out because it is based mostly on external events or activities. We float in and out of our inner capacity for joy, meaning JOY is actually within us. What a delightful finding.
Wishing you a holiday and new year that lifts and lightens you. I invite you to fully dip into the well of the joy within you! From my family to yours with love, Kim
PS FREE content is available on the podcast! Shoutout to my dear friend Tisha Tolar, who I met at a How to Guide Meditation retreat at The Omega Institute this summer. What a gift it has been to work with her and have her produce my show Find Your Center with Life Coach Kim Perone and be a guest on her podcast Slightly Unmeditated. She is truly magical (tune into episode 46 to find out more!) For more about JOY, read Robert’s article 5 Qualities of Joyful People. If you are a leader or employee, feel free to look at my Coach on Call program for organizations along with a list of webinars, workshops and training is available as downloadable flyers from the above link and schedule a consultation.
