Crises in mid-life can be an opportunity for necessary growth. When everything is falling apart, is it really falling into place or making space for something new?

What might be calling to us?

Who are we at our most authentic?

Have we been putting on armor (figuratively) that is wearing us down?

Do we have old baggage to unload, new things to learn, changes to make?

How can we deal with uncertainty?

What do we do when nothing seems right?

We find ourselves pondering all these questions and more during a mid-life crisis.

Here are two questions to prompt some answers.

What will you release? (What is no longer serving you?)

What will you embrace? (What is calling to you, authentic for you, a longing for you?)

Mid-life crises lead to mid-life growth that helps us determine who are we at a deeper level. There is a philosophy that nothing is happening to us, but rather for us in ways we may not understand until later. Given this philosophy, take some action based on the current state. What is there for you to learn about yourself and life? Action can take you from stuck to soaring.

When we make space for growth, we can turn our mid-life crisis to mid-life growth. Your never too old to grow, thrive and soar! In fact, it is the truest path there is.
