Have you ever noticed that the car goes where your eyes go when you are driving? That is why it is important to look where you are going. Something similar happens with our thoughts.

Manifesting is the process of focusing on what you want to occur in your life to bring it about. This means thinking about what you would like to occur in the future, rather than focusing on what you do not like or what you fear will happen. Focus on where you want to go and let your life follow.

Manifesting is always happening. This means that if you are not intentionally focusing on positive things that you wish to happen in your future and instead you are ruminating  on negative things you do not want or do not like, you may unintentionally create more of what you do not want in your life. You manifest what you are focusing on. If you tend to be a thinker focused  on what you need, what you want, what’s missing, or simply spend time noticing that you need more of anything, you are bringing more of that lack or negativity into your life rather than fixing it. Spending your time and thoughts on dissatisfaction, fear, negativity or overwhelm can create more of it in your life.  However, if you focus on what is positive, what is working, what is abundant in your life, you are bringing more of that into your life. This is the Law of Attraction.

What do you choose to focus on? We can easily fall into the trap of focusing on the negative. We tend to put anything that is good on a figurative shelf because good is an expectation. We expect to have whatever is good and since it is not a problem that needs to be fixed, we neglect it. Our attention naturally goes to the problems. Therefore, the “good” is taken for granted and the “bad” attracts all of our attention. However, our life goes where our thoughts go. In fact, our thoughts create our life’s experience. Therefore, your focused attention on problems, lack, and negative relationships, create more problems, lack, and negative relationships.

To harness the power of manifesting to attract more of what you want in your life, try focusing on everything that is working, everything that you are grateful for, everything that makes you happy. Take all the positive aspects of your life “off  the shelf”. Figuratively speaking, take those wonderful aspects of your life, recognize them and cherish them.  Feel the abundance in your life.  In energy terms, love, joy, and gratitude are the highest and most powerful energies to manifest in our lives.  When we can tune into that energy frequency, we can utilize manifesting to attract what we wish to bring to our lives. If we can chose to tune in to those frequencies no matter what’s happening in our lives, we can bring about great change.

  3. Imagine what the future should look like. What would you like more of in the future? Visualize that future as if it already exists.
