It means finding your footing on unstable ground, figuratively speaking.

It means grounding yourself in truth and rediscovering your essence.

It means feeling well, stable, inspired, and hopeful.

Recently, I found myself flapping in the wind emotionally and wondering how and why I got there. After journaling, I realized the year had certainly taken its toll on me. The journaling itself allowed me to unpack the elements and gain clarity. Perhaps you found yourself “there” recently as well.  When we are addressing a crisis, we plough through with mysterious energy, and potentially even inspiration, to help others.  However, as time goes on, we begin to lose steam and our exhaustion, if denied, can cloud our vision for the future.

When we find ourselves “there”, self-care is a priority. However, I will warn you. Your brain will tell you, “I don’t have time.”  You need the time and can find the time. Give yourself permission.

Disconnect from technology and stressors for a bit and breathe. Rest and then re-connect with activities that bring you joy. If those activities are not possible, find something new or make a plan for a brighter day.

We are all on this crazy journey of life, my friend.  Let’s find our center together.
